20-SOMETHING QUEER FEMINIST DELIVERING TRUTH BOMBS ABOUT LIFE, FAMILY, RELATIONSHIPS, DATING, POP-CULTURE, SEX, IDENTITY, SEXUALITY, SELF DISCOVERY, FEMINISM AND WOMANHOOD.
After 7 years of travelling around Australia, I have finally made my way to Melbourne. I’ve been blessed to have crossed paths with genuine, loving and supportive humans who have become tribe to me. I’ve never felt more ready to reach out to young people about the journey we are all on.
Growing up, I was always searching for strong women to emulate and to inspire me. I’ve found idols in the likes of Lena Dunham, Margaret Cho, Mia Freedman, Ellen Page, Beth Ditto, Laura Jane Grace, Caitlin Stasey, Em Rusciano, Jessie J, Clementine Ford, Beyonce, Maya Angelou, Jeanne Manford, Ani Difranco, P!NK, Amy Poehler, Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Chrissie Swan, Oprah, Joan Jett and of course Ellen Degeneres.
Lets not forget to mention the strong and incredibly brave women in my every day life who fill me to the brim with every bit of love and support we aim to show one another.
Now is my chance to take the lessons I have learned and share my experiences with the world. How I Woman will be a platform to call out social injustice, a collection of love letters to past and future lovers, a how-to guide for navigating womanhood in your 20’s and mostly – hopefully – a way to inspire other women to live their true authentic life, starting now.
